Researchers from cybersecurity firm ESET warned on Wednesday that a newly discovered piece of dangerous spyware circulating in Ukraine had infected hundreds of PCs.
The business said the data-wiping application had been “loaded on hundreds of PCs around the country” in a series of tweets, adding that the attack had likely been planned for a few months.
